Sea glass is also called beach glass or mermaid tears. It begins as bottles, jars or glass that have been carelessly discarded into the ocean and then tumbled smooth by the waves. It can take 7-10 years in a constant surf environment for it to become sea glass. These beach gems are becoming harder to find because of the wide spread use of plastic for beverages and recycling.
My husband Jeff and I have spent many happy hours combing the beaches of the Bahamas searching for sea glass. Each piece I make is one of a kind and made with genuine sea glass we've found on these beaches. Our authentic sea glass is never altered. Some pieces are wired using fine sterling silver and some are drilled depending on the shape. I hope you enjoy your piece as much as I have enjoyed making it for you.
Please visit our online store to view, and hopefully purchase, a beautiful piece of hand made sea glass jewelry.
